With 90% of all real estate searches starting online it’s no surprise some brokerages are leaving the old brick and mortar style of doing business to become virtual or satellite offices. The days of walking into a real estate brokerage to interview agents or printing hundreds of pages of documents to sign is a thing of the past; and better for the environment! With all of today’s technological advances we have streamlined the whole buying and selling process making it less stressful while keeping you more connected. Did you know that we could write, sign and present your offer all in less than one hour? And it could all be done from your living room! These are the types of efficiencies we have perfected to ensure you are ahead of the competition. At the speed in which real estate transactions are happening today, you need a consummate professional who is ahead of the curve with industry trends.
Being a cloud-based brokerage isn’t only for its efficiencies, but it’s also less impactful on the environment. If you’ve ever been into the back rooms of an older realty office, you’d notice walls of filing cabinets storing thousands of older files. Each transaction requires hundreds of pages of documents that no longer need to be printed or stored which is wasteful of paper and energy to power large office space. By minimizing our carbon footprint we feel we are doing our part in making the planet a better place.
In addition to selling properties, part of this site will be dedicated to blogging about green products and lifestyle to help educate home owners in making their home more environmentally friendly. You will learn there are many low cost updates that can be done in your spare time to get you started. Why is this important? All homes are not created equal. It’s like having a contractor always at your side that can help buyers understand how to improve their home and sellers get the most value. Green homes are so unique they need a specialist who truly understands their value and knows how to sell them at a premium, especially in a challenging market.
Broker, Anthony Ridino
Although he represents all styles of homes, his true passion lies within architectural design with a focus on green living. Having a background in construction and is a licensed general contractor, he has redeveloped many homes creating more functional floor plans and incorporated energy efficient features consistent with today’s demands. “Being green is more than the materials and products installed in your home, it’s a life style that we should all learn to embrace”. There are always new sustainable products and concepts that hit the market that most people don’t have the time to research, so you need a professional who is always current and understands their benefits and worth. Even today’s building codes recognize this fact and are constantly updating their standards to benefit everyone including the environment.
His experience started at a young age having worked with his father, at Ridino Realty in Boston, Massachusetts. There he helped manage a portfolio of investment properties consisting of over 100 units and also assisted in sales. In 1996, Anthony moved to Los Angeles and attended California State University Northridge where he earned a B.S. in Business, Finance and Real Estate. He spent his spare time analyzing income properties for local realtors and creating spread sheets for their potential investors.
After college, Anthony began selling residential real estate and honed his skills as a residential property developer with a top producing sales team at Sotheby’s International Realty in Santa Monica. The team averaged about 100 transactions per year and was recognized as one of the most innovative teams that set the industry bar for both customer service and professionalism.
Anthony works with both buyers and sellers, handling an impressive client list that includes celebrities from around the world. In addition, he has been a successful property developer and has helped clients through the same process from start to finish. In 2003 he was chosen from a pool of thousands of candidates to launch a new TV concept about “flipping” properties. The show, Property Ladder, was the first of its kind and continues to air internationally on The Learning Channel.
